Simon Holloway beefs up Bloor’s RFID, BPM and manufacturing skills-base

Bloor Research is pleased to welcome Simon Holloway into our growing team of analysts. Simon brings a wealth of business and IT skills and has particular expertise in the application of radio frequency identification (RFID) and business process management (BPM).

Through his own IT consultancy company, Simon has been providing services to clients in a wide range of industry sectors, introducing fresh new ideas and different approaches to business users through IT, especially based around RFID, integration and BPM.

In his 20 years as an IT consultant, he has built up a reputation for his ability to provide translation between the business and IT worlds. Areas of specialisation include in IS/IT strategy planning, information management, corporate data and process modelling, business process reengineering, software selection and project management.

If that was not all, Simon also boasts wide-ranging manufacturing experience – with expertise in agile manufacturing, the application of web services and virtualisation within supply chains. He has worked for organisations that include, Microsoft, Sun Microsystems and Forté Software, and on projects for a wide variety of internationally-known companies including Cadbury Schweppes, British Airways, Glaxo and Scottish Widows.
