Maria Luisi is responsible for sales activity at Bloor.
Prior to this Maria worked for a London-based publishing company selling outdoor media, billboards etc, where she recruited the sales and marketing team. In this role, as Sales Director, she was responsible for achievement of the targets she had set for the telesales and field sales teams.
Maria spent twelve years prior to this working for a Milton Keynes based publishing house that she joined as a sales person, taking the horizontal b2b regional magazine, to a national circulation, having grown the sales team to 45 strong, Teams involved telesales and field sales people, along with Sales Admin personnel. Having worked though numerous management roles, as the Group Sales Managers, in charge of the B2B magazine and 15 local directories, Maria left that role to start a family. Upon her return she presented a business plan to the board, accepted the role of Publisher, driving the development and subsequent launch of a number of key annual vertical titles, and supporting quarterly publications. The success of these titles added over £5m+ turnover to the holding company.
In support of these efforts, Maria was appointed to the Board of Directors, during her tenure, was responsible for overall sales for the company which involved all advertising, direct mail, subscription, on-line media sales, and sales personnel within the Milton Keynes office, also responsible for the successful launch of two satellite sales offices, which delivered in excess of £8 million in revenue. Maria was promoted to the board of this company, holding the position of Group Sales Board Director, with responsibility for a team of more than 75.
